The high-lonesome sound meets the traditional choral mass in this exhilarating musical fusion. Acclaimed bluegrass band Monroe Crossing performed the premier of this groundbreaking work and is joined in concert by Elgin's Heartland Voices, under the direction of John Slawson. The second half of the program will feature Monroe Crossing performing an electrifying blend of classic bluegrass, bluegrass gospel, and heartfelt originals.

Join Heartland Voices for a choral journey of life's emotions and feelings that come from being human. The concert will include an encore performance of selections presented at Heartland's 2011 Gala event this past October, "Hollywood and Vine--music from the movies.
